Getting into OSU with 28 ACT and 3.7 GPA

‘Transfer down’ as in transfer from the OSU Marion branch to main campus and be assigned an academic advisor at main campus to begin scheduling classes in Columbus rather than Marion.

OSU does holistic review of applications. You can include your OSU Marion experiences in your essay or supplementary material. Louis Hominga is an excellent resource who may be able to advise you further on your application. I would also suggest you ask a business professor you’ve had if they would be willing to provide a letter of recommendation. That business professor may be able to provide you with insight for Fisher admission as well.

Best of Luck!

You have a head start, but at the same time you will not have a traditional Freshman year. You must get to the career services offices at the beginning of your first semester and start looking for internships and co-ops right away. Do not refer to yourself as a freshman but rather your earned rank by credit hour. If you will have 4 semesters left that leaves ONE summer to get an internship in before graduation. If you get an offer for multiple semester internships, take it. It is much more important to have work experience and grow your network than to graduate asap.
