(Sorry for the huge block of text but I really need advice)
UNC Chapel Hill is my absolute dream school and honestly would do anything to be able to go. But, unfortunately, I was waitlisted as an out-of-state student. Just for context, my SAT is 1450, I have a 4.0 unweighted/4.3ish weighted GPA as of 1st sem of senior year, and I’d say a pretty good amount of ECs/awards and volunteer experience. Does anyone have any advice as to how to get in off the waitlist? I know chances are very slim (like less than 1% slim), but I am willing to try anything to get in. (Also, I recently won an award at a MUN conference at UNC and I would really like to update my application with that, but they tell you when you accept a spot on the waitlist that other than transcript updates, it is not recommended to send additional supplemental information.) Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!!
