Gift ideas for a son turning 30?

Another idea that our family members have enjoyed is a trapeze class. Check Groupon or google The Trapeze School of New York (they have branches in other cities).

My S has also enjoyed a race-track experience when he was younger (riding in a race car going more miles per hour than I care to remember) and for his most recent birthday a family member gave him stick-shift driving lessons as he wants to learn how and we don’t own a stick shift car.

S and DIL are in the same age group as your son, and definitely prefer experiences as gifts at this point. We’ve given theater tickets, gift cards to nature tours, amusement parks, etc. Your son’s interests will probably dictate the kinds of experiences he’d enjoy. Can you run ideas past his gf if you want to keep it a surprise for your son?

Money, the more, the better!! We have been giving $$ to kids, grand-kids, everybody loves money!!
