Mine wouldn’t dare buy me anything, and I won’t buy anything for her either. (Our Victoria’s Secret is that we won’t wear any. ;))

I don’t know if my H will use many of the packing cubes but I will use them if he doesn’t. I usually pack with ziploc bags.
I ordered the basketball tickets!

My DH gives me a long list of books, which I order off Amazon. Then he hands me a long list of wines, which I go buy. He’s very happy with this arrangement.

I like to be surprised, so he has it much harder.

I bought H a cast iron enameled French grill pan at Costco. He loves grilling so will see what he thinks. Since it’s Costco, he can always take it back if he doesn’t like it. Think it may be a hit!

We will also be getting a “free” iTouch from depositing $50K to an account at Schwab. That will be another gift. H & I will play around learning how to use it.

Packing cubes are great! Short term or long–I pack individual outfits (entire costumes which can be bulky) in one to simplify all my packing.
Here’s one of my favorite travel pieces! Bit pricey (80-100, get a discount code) but SO worth it if you do a bunch of traveling. Scott’s travel vests–great website. I have one of their light weight jackets that have about 20 pockets, zip off sleeves. It’s pretty much an extra carry-on for air line travel. It can get heavy though if you load it up enough! Pockets for ipods, kindles, ipads, paper backs, airline papers, even water bottles. Easy to stay organized when traveling. And you load it up and it doesn’t look bulky at all (but it does weigh a ton after you’ve loaded it down!) I even loaded up a back pocket with an extra shirt and changed clothes during the day during one day trip (my friend was really impressed). And the purse stays home.

bought this waterproof iphone case for H today at REI. I think it will be great for beach volleyball to keep the sand out and to prevent any accidents if he heads into the water and forgets he has the phone in his pocket.
The packing cubes came today. I doubt he will find them exciting but I think they will come in handy.

My husband has everything he wants (so he says) and is next to impossible to buy for. This year I’m giving him something really different – a personal DNA analysis from 23andme.com. I did it for myself a few months ago and found it very enlightening. He seemed interested so when the company lowered the price from $299 to $99, I figured that was a sign :).
