<p>So you’re considering ‘most people’ as between the 25th and 90th percentiles. In reality, only 10% of people are above 6’2" and 25% are below 5’8.25" at their PEAK height.</p>

- Yeah, it does get really frustrating. I deal with it a lot of the time, but sometimes, I do get upset. I probably wouldn’t date because of it since I don’t have a lot of options, and I’m probably not planning to have kids because I don’t want them to end up being short. I kind of blame my parents for my height. That’s why I kind of understand why girls want to date taller guys; it’ll be better for future children.</p>

Well, keep in mind, it’s only based on perception, and this is based on the current generation of white college-aged males.</p>

<p>I am still hoping i grow. Being about 5’10" (5’9.75" to be exact) is not bad. Its above the 50th percentile. But I would love to be 5’11". I do have posture issues and minor spinal compression. WHo knows maybe I’ll be 5’11" after I get that fixed. I come across looking shorter because I have shorter legs than guys my height but more height in my torso.</p>

<p>Btw look into yoga ElectricTech. People who do yoga have impecable posture and can maintain their morning height. People who are above 50 lbs overweight have the potential to gain an inch by losing weight and reducing spinal compression.</p>

<p>ElectricTech may I reccomend Timberland boots and air force one’s (nike air assualts work too) to you? Do girls look down on guys wearing air force one’s since they add a bit of height over other sneakers.</p>

<p>At my university many guys are shorter than me aka shorter than the average man, and most have girlfriends or at least by the looks of it.</p>

<p>I’m female, 5’7". (I’m half Asian so this is a miracle, but my Asian side is pretty tall, so it compensated for the shorter white side. I know, odd.) My dad’s relatives are on the shorter end though (relative to the average English person). His bros “(maybe 5’8”, 5’7" etc) are all married with kids of their own. Some of my cousins turned out to be beasts…like chicks who are 5’10".</p>
<p>In all honesty though, most of my university is short…and it seems like all the guys have girlfriends. Height isn’t really that big of a deal. Physically I think people would put face as the most important thing as shallow as that sounds.</p>
<p>Oh and both my parents successfully remarried. My dad married a much younger woman, so basically my shorter than average dad can get chicks. ;)</p>
