Three points:
- My daughter really enjoyed the Global Youth Summit on the Future of Medicine.
- If you're interested in attending as a means of enhancing your applications to college, I doubt that my kid's attendance helped any more than, say, the demonstration that we could have paid for her to spend a couple of weeks to inexpertly attempt to build a hospital/school/et cetera in a third-world country; admission officers have seen this sort of thing before, over and over again, and there much better ways to catch their eyes.
- The program functions as an efficient means to introduce students to Brandeis and as a recruiting tool for the university. If you visit, you'll see that it's a nice place.
