I totally agree
It’s troubling how many PARENTS are contemplating debt of $100k+ for “the full college experience” when there are other as good or better options that are considered “inferior.” How can kids be expected to understand the heavy burden of huge debt when the parents don’t seem to (unless the posters are kids masquerading as parents). In either case, very sad and troubling.
I think my IQ dropped a half a point after reading this. Sometimes I wish the media would actually report something “un-stupid” for a change. There’s no accomplishment here. If you apply to 100 colleges, of course you’re going to be accepted into 50! It’s just probability numbers. If I apply to 50 universities with open admissions, I’m going to get 50 acceptance letters even if I have a 2.3 GPA.
