Huge Congrats!! WooHoo!! Does he have a preference between UNT and UM if the cost ends up the same? What does SMTD mean? Scholarship $ TBD?? I hope we have great news rolling in like you do next year this time!

S just got a note (email) that his audition was good for SUNY Purchase and they would confirm with the academic side next to say if he is good to go.

No financial components yet except for the academic “Excellence” scholarship from UNT that came with their rolling admissions. They do a “best of” at UNT, so any potential musical merit would either replace or be replaced by the Excellence scholarship there.

We were told at Miami Frost that the offer letter and the merit scholarship amount would be sent in the same package there, but have not heard from there yet.

Wow three already. Want to thank you for this journal, which has offered a personalized (and charmingly discrete) journey for others to follow.

At first, I wondered if the Journal format seemed selfish and spotlight-seeking, but I gambled it would be useful and maybe copied by others with their own journals so we could see step by step narrations. I didn’t think I would pull off a good series like BassDad’s So You Want To Be A Music Major, so I made mine more “streaming”.
