I wouldn’t worry about the wait-listing for QBReC (I’m guessing she’ll get it if she wants it, after a bit of time perhaps) … since other top applicants that got into QBReC (not many, it appears) seem interested in other schools (then with Brandeis being a “safety” where they likely won’t enroll). So my prediction is that those who do enroll will be able to get into QBReC, if they already applied and were wait-listed (since that’s a very good sign, already). I actually wasn’t even invited to apply to that one (QBReC), only the LSCs, but maybe after getting through some freshman science courses (biol. and chem. etc. with hopefully high grades and all) might also be interested in QBReC later on …
