<p>Very few careers are recession proof. As a member of the healthcare industry, I can tell you that even hospitals are starting to cut staff, and health care is supposedly as “recession-proof” as you can get. Teachers are also getting laid off.</p>
<p>The only thing I can think of off of the top of my head is working for the federal government. With the whole stimulus package, the government will only increase, not shrink in the coming years.</p>
