I’m sorry that Hamilton isn’t listed but they’re not similar in the slightest. And not all LACs have great Poli Sci / Government programs. Some are better than others.
Just as some LACs have more cutting-edge science equipment, labs and facilities, better music departments, etc. Not every LAC is great at every discipline.
MODERATOR’S NOTE: Please knock off the bickering. I had to delete a few posts.
For prospective students, Hamilton has a very well regarded political science program with several tracks available. Amongst the sources include both the Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center https://www.hamilton.edu/academics/centers/levitt and it’s Leadership Institute which offers a public policy program in DC and the Hamilton Washington DC Program which has been in place for 50 years and offers internship programs on the Hill, with NGO’s, as well as lobbying and consulting firms https://www.hamilton.edu/academics/offcampusstudy/washington-program.

Michigan doesn’t offer an IR major.
International Studies and International Relations are often used interchangeably.

Someone needs to inform College Transitions that IS and IR are interchangeable!
