If she wants to learn math and statistics which is specifically useful for medicine and biology (and social sciences to some extent), she may want to consider Math 10A and 10B. According to the pre-med advising page from the career center, it will fulfill medical schools’ requirements for both math and statistics (students who take other courses may have to take two math and one statistics).
