good schedule for L&S CS freshman? which classes to phase 1?

@misaonoodles123 If you think you need to revisit the BC part of calculus then I would recommend just taking 16B and saving yourself the trouble of the purported difficulty of 1B! If you’re worried about differential equations, however, and would like to learn most of it while doing a course where you’re already somewhat familiar with the material, then perhaps taking 1B would be your choice - otherwise, I would just take Math 54 directly.

In terms of your schedule, it’s solid (may or may not even have a bit of room for another breadth class or a DeCal if you want). In terms of what to phase 1, all of your classes to my knowledge (with the exception of Intro to Acting) are Phase 2 friendly, so I would choose to phase 1 your math class and your nutritional science class (or intro to acting if it’s popular and will easily get full… use berkeleytime to find that out) and get a great discussion time that’s friendly to your schedule. CS 61A typically expands to accommodate everyone on its waitlist and its labs and such are a bit more flexible in terms of scheduling, so I would wait to Phase 2 that.
