Good Undergrad Journalism Schools In California ? Help :/

None of the UC schools offer an undergraduate major in journalism, which sucks. The closest I believe is UC Irvine, where you can major in literary journalism:

A lot of the CSU schools have a journalism major too but I don’t think it’s worth coming all the way to CA from NY for an average state school education. Plus, with the added OOS tuition fees, you might as well just save your money and attend one of the many GOOD j-schools in NY.

You can also look into private CA schools such as USC (fabulous journalism program), Loyola Marymount, etc. It’d be a lot more reasonable to attend a private CA school with a good journalism program as opposed to spending nearly 60k on a UC education where you can’t even get a j-school degree.
