I’m not a current student, but Im going to point out the not so obviously obvious, if that makes any sense.

First of all comes the early priority. At a huge university, like UCF, UF, FSU or Auburn, there are so many people that you probably won’t get to take half the classes you want to take. Heck, my sister goes to a private uni with very few students and she still didn’t get some of the classes she asked for this semester. So with priority registration, you are almost guaranteed to get into the classes that you want, with the professor that you want, at the time that is most convenient to you. To me, that’s golden.

The second thing is that if you are planning to go to grad school, rec letters are VERY important. So if all your classes are huge auditoriums, chances are that your teachers won’t know you at all and won’t write letters of rec. But if you have honors classes with 15 students (that is MUCH smaller than any class at my high school), its going to be pretty easy to get rec letters.

To me, that’s what I’m looking for, and I will hopefully be accepted.

I have a 1320/2030 SAT, 4.8 Weighted GPA, a pretty good rec letter, and pretty good EC’s
