<p>don’t worry about it berry. Like someone said before, getting into Cal is easy (so many people do it) but staying here, especially in more difficult majors, is the hard part.</p>

<p>Sure, you have to be pretty stupid to be on academic probation as a soft science major but for majors like EECS, it’s a lot harder to do well. It’s uncommon and not very likely to be on academic probation, but it’s not unheard of.</p>

<p>Thanks guys. I’ll look forward to that : ] At least, I’ll be taking classes this summer to get a head start! : ] Instead of being thrown in with all the other freshman and then I’ll be more familiar with the way things work hopefully.</p>
