Graduate in 1 year after transferring?

I asked this question to a rep at UCSB and a rep at UCLA. Below is my question, and their responses.</p>

Euro AP - 4

Yes, you have 121 total; a maximum of 105 quarter units of 2 year college work and 16 quarter units of AP.</p>

<p>If you transferred to UCLA, you would have a maximum of 105 quarter units to be applied toward your bachelor’s degree. After you reach 105 units while in residency at a 2 year college, additional 2 year units are not applied toward your degree [although you may receive subject credit for them and they will count in your cumulative GPA for transfer purposes]. Other UC campuses’ policy may allow you to receive the full 121 towards your degree. You would have to check with the other UC campuses to which you may apply for the application of their policy.</p>

<p>But one thing is true - For all campuses in the University of California system, AP credit are NEVER used to push you into senior standing. You will be a junior-level transfer student to the UC.</p>

<p>As you may have noticed from the above information, your “total” is the same for all campuses, but how we choose to apply that total towards your actual degree after transfer may differ from campus to campus.

Here’s the break down…</p>

<p>78 Semester Transferable Units = 117 Quarter Units
Euro AP = 8 Quarter Units
Spanish AP = 8 Quarter Units
Total = 133 Quarter Units</p>

<p>Now, only 105 will be counted towards your graduation total. We will apply the other 28 units to other requirements (GE’s, Major prerequisites, etc) if it applies.</p>
