<p>AP units count for you in the most favorable way.
They add to your unit count when you want that to hit 60 units or to meet grad requirements, but do not when you don’t want to exceed unit count (such as when you’re transferring). Each campus has specific rules about how many units must be competed in at that UC to obtain their degree.</p>
