Hello,
what are chances for PhD at ivy level iinstitute in environmental / agriculture engg.
- 7.8 /10 cga M Tech . Class topper.
- 6 year relevant work experience as Associate Prof in a national university
- Few publications, no books , no patents.
- Age 41
- Ethnicity Asian.
If I have a couple of years , what can I do to improve my chances.
I’m in a similar position to UWChemE. I did chemical engineering at UCLA and my GPA is barely above 3.0. The problem is I’m lacking the undergraduate research experience you had (and in turn the letters of recommendation that come along with it). I did however have an extra year of internship experience. Very interested if someone from a similar background could give some insight.
What does having one withdrawal in a major course do for your chances at getting into graduate school? If you retake the course and get an A, is that taken into consideration?
