<p>Last year, I made my daughter a t-shirt quilt from all of her old shirts and then I had someone else machine quilt it.</p>
<p>I’ve seen and admired t-shrit quilts. I went to a wedding where the mom of the bride made a t-shirt quilt for the couple, commemerating several key romantic/significant things about them & their relationship. It was very sweet and gorgeous!</p>
<p>I made my kids patchwork quilts when they were in preschool but they declined my offer to make them one for college. :(</p>

<p>My parents got me a laptop, digital camera and an all-in-one printer/copier/scanner (the printer, camera and laptop were all drastically on sale). As well as everything else I needed to go away to school…and, of course, tuition. =)</p>
<p>We are getting D luggage and filling it with both college necessities and fun things (Bath & Body Shop favorites, college t-shirt, gift certificate to restaurant near campus, etc.)</p>
<p>Grandparents are getting her the laptop :)</p>
<p>We gave S1 $250 toward an airline ticket for a summer trip with his friend’s family to Mexico. </p>
<p>We bought S2 a new stereo for his old truck that he would be taking to college (4 hour trip). For some reason, he didn’t think the factory cassette player was cool. </p>
<p>I did memory photo albums for both S’s starting from birth and going thru high sch. graduation. S2 was a football player all through high school so also did a senior yr. football album for him that he really liked.</p>
