I play tennis with a lot of older women who were getting facelifts and implants when they first came out in the 80s. I gotta tell you, a 70 year old with lip implants does not look younger.
On the other hand, I am seeing women of that age who are doing laser resurfacing and thermage, and have been for a while, and they look good-like they’re aging normally, but slower and more gracefully.
I remember her before she was on Fox, I seem to recall it was on court tv where she had this kind of ‘avenging angel’ program spouting outrage at this and that, and I didn’t like her much then and didn’t watch her on Fox. As far as getting plastic surgery, if you watch Fox News and the woman on it, it shouldn’t be that big a surprise, nor is it on any media channel for that matter, they have CNBC on during the day in our break room and the women on there all project the image of glamour and such, the outfits, the makeup, shoes, all are projecting a youthful, sexy kind of vibe.
And the sexism is obvious, the men can age (anyone see what O’Reilly looks like these days?), they can have wrinkles or be balding and they are okay (ever see the two brothers whose name escapes me, they are balding and have these pony tails, on CNBC?).
So not surprised if she would have continuing work done, I don’t think it is a choice, for men getting older seems to give them a sense of gravitas and experience, for women it gives them the patina of age and that is bad according to the media moguls.
Oh yes, men have work done too. I bet O’Reilly had some work done, Bob Costas, Lou Dobbs too. The secret is to do it early and gradually so it’s not noticeable. Elon Musk had some serious hair transplant, so did Biden.
I used to work close to a very very high end plastic surgeon. everyone coming out of the office did not look like a kardishian or Nancy Pelosi. most where probably middle age men and women looking for a little this or that …and while I personally think people should age gracefully and wrinkles and sags come with age… also IMO nose jobs, breast enhancements take away from who you are…I understand many people do not agree with me. and some people really do need corrective surgery…other people have work done and I wonder what flaw the saw in themselves that I did not see.
I remember a woman freshman year of college who had the girl next door type of beauty . she had her nose done over winter break and looked so bland and boring after. (I guess since I was born with such stunning great looks I do not understand)
