Guess college decision dates with me!

I think this might be too early? - they were 3/22 (a Wed) last year.

gonna start poking around about when schools usually announce dates- how far in advance

last two years Amherst has announced release 3-4 days in advance, and a whole week ahead for fall 21. my guess is they won’t be for another week

no one’s guessed swarthmore yet; I would normally say tomorrow, but similar deal with amherst where they usually announce 3-7 days in advance, so probably next friday (unless they always coordinate with haverford, which i don’t know either way about off the top do my head (seems like not necessarily))

kenyon doesn’t announce in advance, so all bets are off (hopefully tomorrow 6pm?). looks like people have historically had success calling the admissions office and asking.

urochester looks like usually the 3rd Friday, so maybe tomorrow? they don’t seem to announce in advance, and release around 5-6pm EST

tufts seems to announce pretty early in advance, like 1-2 weeks. maybe i shouldn’t hope for this tuesday

am looking mostly at schools which I’ve applied to. gonna look into mt holyoke, smith, vassar, wes, etc next

just noticed that Amherst’s website says " March 20, 2024 (Regular Decision)
Decision notices to Regular Decision applicants sent electronically on or around this date."

I don’t know if that’s been there all year or not. I thought this weekend was going to be full of decisions for DS, but then Grinnell and Macalester came out earlier than I expected, and some I thought would be this Friday are seeming less likely.

they do that every year; not sure how accurate it usually is? last time they did it it was early though

Vassar is always ridiculously late–like usually just before Ivy Day. I remember when my oldest kid got into Vassar it seemed almost like an afterthought because by then he had a few that he was already leaning toward that came out earlier. He would have been much more interested in it if it had come out earlier, I think. I have Vassar as 3/29 in 2022, which would line up with the 26th or so this year.
