That’s all you learn during BH month? Man, that’s not even the tip of the iceberg. They go all out here and make it fun. Festivities, food, dance, etc. They do the same for Hispanic Heritage month, too.

We learn about alot more than just the “basic characters,” although I don’t mind it because we actually do have fun, and during BH month, they include EVERYONE and their civil rights, not just blacks’. That’s probably why I have a better appreciation for it than my friends at other schools.

For realz… ATL is soooo ghetto! I mean, I love living here, but there’s no denying that it’s ghetto. Nice thing, though, I’ve learned A LOT about self defense :-). Now, if you live in the Northern Suburbs of Atlanta, it’s not so ghetto and is in fact upperclass. But, the city… geez, you better carry a tazer!

LMAO! And, stay off of MARTA (Atlantans are already good at this, if you bring up my post about the 26 lane freeway they’re building here to relieve congestion, haha).

Bah, it’s nothing once you’re used to it. I love scaring the **** out of NYC and Cali drivers that come through thinking they can handle the “gentle, friend, Southern atmosphere”. Yeah, that friendliness stops at 4 PM when we come home, and get on I-75/I-20/I-285/I-85/I-75-85/I-575/I-675/GA-400/Peachtree Ind freeway/ Stone Mtn Freeway/Abernathy… holy ****, we have too many to list!

The trip today was pretty crazy. We had to buy these lollipops and they were covered in chili powder. Whoever thought that would sell is an idiot. The clerks thought we were stupid asking questions in spanish.

I live in city ranked #12, and unless one is in the projects at night the city is not a bad place to be. It is in the projects where most of the dangerous crime happens. The other area would be the nightclub district in the Flats, but problems at nightclubs are endemic everywhere.
