lasportive-fille,

A few other things to consider that may not be listed here:

Read everything you can get your hands on. You’ll want to know what you’re talking about when you inform your parents about this goal. There have been other discussions from candidates whose parents were not just unsupportive, but downright hostile to their own child. The best way to handle this is to prepare by being armed with the knowledge you need and being able to present your ideas to them in a calm and serious way.

Reach out to your MALO. Depending on where you live, you can probably contact Admissions to get a name and e-mail address. As has been said before, these are local volunteers, so be patient with them.

Everything matters. Grades, test scores, CFA scores, extracurriculars, essays, interviews, motivation, timeliness.

Best of luck to you. Keep us posted on your progress.

tool,

If you look at the class of 2012, you’ll see that 9% of female applicants attended and 13% of male applicants attended. The percentages are likely fairly similar year over year.
