<p>How can you say that there are no exceptions? An average is simply an average; I’m sure you’ve heard of outliers.</p>
<p>And as far as your friends go: they may have had amazing ECs, but there may always be someone with more amazing ones! Not to say (at all) that OP’s ECs are amazing, but you never know what kind of insanely harrowing hardships he or anyone else has faced.</p>
