It’s a thread TITLE for a college the OP has APPLIED to. That’s not a trivial placement for a typo.
I think you mean dangling participle. I’m not even sure that is the case in my example, as the “participle” is acting as a noun clause. Its placement at the end of the sentence also allows for the noun, “spelling,” to be adjacent to its adjective, “correct.” Though I do realize my construction was somewhat awkward, mostly in an effort to be minimally offensive to the OP.
I don’t mind grammatical corrections if delivered properly. In fact, I appreciate them.
