@OuchThatHurt hey, nobody really knows how the admissions process works except for the admissions officers that read your application. I got waitlisted at Tulane and Lehigh but accepted at Colgate and Hamilton, how did that happen? Couldn’t tell ya! My brother got flat rejected at Hamilton and then was the first acceptance at Lafayette. Sometimes it’s just an essay or an EC will resonate w/ the admissions person reading it, and sometimes it won’t. Don’t get down on yourself, because honestly, I bet there’s nowhere you went wrong and will get in wherever you are truly meant to go. If not, there’s always transfers and gap years and whatever else. Good luck!!!
