I need another purse. The one I have (thoroughly discussed on this thread) is getting old and I really would rather have black or a darker brown. It’s so hard to find bags with compartments. I saw this one yesterday:

but some reviewers say that the Saffiano leather is plastic-y, and I don’t like the brand name stamped on it.

I like the Kate Spade bag. The logo is quite small and does not look bling-y. Saffiano leather is a personal taste, I guess. I personally like it because it is durable and does not show scratches easily.
I love Dooney bags, ECmotherx2, but they don’t have compartments. The one you linked is just a large open space inside. I need compartments to keep things in order.
Dooney bags do have some interior pockets. That’s always worked for me. Also, you can get those really good bad inserts that fit in any bag and compartmentalize everything.
This is the bag that I want next, with my initials instead of someone else’s.

I don’t buy many purses, but I do buy good ones and carry them until they make me look like a bag lady (pun intended). I’m currently carrying a Cole Haan bag bought from a Neiman Marcus lunchtime sale (I miss those) and it’s 5-6 years old and looks like it is older. Mark & Graham is owned by the same company as Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, etc. and they do send out 15% offers periodically. I’m thinking that I may drop hints to kids that I would like gift cards for my birthday and then pony up for the remainder when they have one of their promotions later this year.
2VU- that is a gorgeous bag. I would love to have that. I like all the colors, too.
Thanks, MOWC. I don’t know which color I would pick if I make this become a reality. They say the dye in Black and Crimson may stain, so those go out the window. I love the golden yellow and the orange.
@2VU0609, I have a yellow leather bag (not that brand, but the color is the same) and I love it. Looks great with nearly all of my clothes (I tend to wear dark neutrals), and it’s such a “fresh” pop of color in the spring, summer, and fall.
