Happily rejected from Berkeley...very close call though!

Ok, I concede the point, but its pretty difficult to tell in my opinion.

sakky, I’m flattered that you’d mention Tufts syndrome, but I don’t think that was the reason. I mean, first of all Tufts didn’t reject me! I feel like I probably got in to Brown last minute, since I sent them an update last week, to which they replied: “blah blah blah has been put in your file and will be considered when making our final decision.” I figured I wasn’t sitting squarely on the reject or admit pile from the wording of the e-mail reply. And if I got in last minute, my ‘stats’ weren’t high enough to merit an auto-admit, and Berkeley wouldn’t have been able to reject me based on Tufts syndrome.

At this point I’m thinking the reason is either: Berkeley is about as hard to get in to OOS as HYPMS, or there must have been some deficiency in my application that automatically disqualified me (that I wasn’t aware of).

what is OOS?

i will trade you your brown for my berkeley :)

OOS is out of state

you just weren’t in the creme of the crop to get in…I’m sorry :(

it’s cause i got in you didnt get in
3.5 UW

…and i do hope you do realize this thread is over a year old
