Hey, at least we had a white christmas Sara! it’s been a while since that last happened… at least over here in the north suburbs of Chicago

I don’t live on the other side of the world! Just the other side of the city. Yeah, but it’s not enough snow to do anything with. Snow is only good if you can sled on it, make snowmen, or throw snowballs.

a little snow is good enough to someone who has never seen snow in her life. yaya I enjoyed it. yay

no snow in new york… sniff, sniff

Although I, too, have been imagining how beautiful Yale must look right now, I haven’t been too excited about the snow here in Columbus. We got several inches, the temperature hasn’t risen above freezing in days, and two days before Christmas, I woke up to no electricity. That’s right - we had massive ice storms all over Columbus that left almost 250,000 people without power. Bleh. Oh well, at least the electricity came back on a few hours before Christmas…

Oh, and happy holidays to everyone!

Yeah, I can sympathize with you vivaldi - I lost electricity for 5 hours. Our house got down to 55 degrees. I was soooooooooooooooooooooooo cold! And the snow just WONT stop coming. Why didn’t I look at any southern colleges??!?!

Our house was without power for two days, and it got down to 45 degrees - luckily, my sister and her husband didn’t lose their electricity, and I stayed there until our house warmed up.

Southern colleges? No thanks - I still hate hot weather…

now now…the south isnt THAT bad…yeah its about 100 in the summer…but right now its only about 65-70 for the high :)

Oh, i forgot to add…during the hurricanes…i didn’t have power for 9 days. I LOVE FLORIDA!
