It’s not just June in Georgia … it’s June in Augusta. The swampiest place I’ve ever been in summer! Drink lots & lots of water, @ChoatieMom. My H passed out from dehydration at 10 a.m. at the Masters one April - he hadn’t been drinking alcohol, but he also hadn’t been drinking water.
I sleep incredibly well, and I set an alarm every morning in retirement simply because I don’t want to sleep past 7. My H is pretty jealous. He wakes up in the middle of the night every night & has difficulty getting back to sleep. He saw a sleep therapist for quite awhile, and he’s “better” … but he still wakes. He just doesn’t stay awake as long normally (he still has bouts when he stays awake a long time). He has to go to bed at the same time & wake up at the same time every day, and he has to leave the bed & go to another room for a “break” when he wakes up. I know how lucky I am to sleep anywhere, anytime. I wake up at night to use the bathroom, but I fall asleep again immediately afterwards.
