I never got an interview but have the paragraphs, unless there was a policy change or lack of availability this means nothing

For what it’s worth, my son is a senior there this year and it has been a long, difficult journey. He was accepted in 2020 so didn’t get to go to “Visitas.” He says that if he had he would have seen all the scowling and unhappy people on campus and would have chosen to go elsewhere. Has it opened some doors? Probably, but not enough to make it worth a culture of transactional relationships and at times extreme loneliness. If you are well heeled (very wealthy) or an athlete you have a very different experience than the bulk of the students there. This is all my way of letting you know, that if you got a rejection today, don’t sweat it, you may be better off!
