<p>Yeah, the subject line for my EA deferral email was only “Early Admission Decision”, which, neutral as it was, left me with a sense of foreboding that was instantly confirmed;) If you use Gmail, you can see the first words of the message, and if they are anything less than ecstatic (God forbid!) then…Never mind, I’m fully expecting that.

<p>What do you guys think of having it e-mailed v. being online. I personally much prefer the e-mail. Going to the site and fumbling for your pin and such when you know that the result is only seconds away will drive me insane. Why don’t they all just e-mail them? It’s safer too.</p>
<p>It just adds to the adrenaline rush, which feels like fun (and transitory fun at it). I went thru the feeling twice when I signed in to view my SAT scores - I fumbled up the username and password, and those few seconds were…memorable:D In short, decision via Internet is okay so long as their servers aren’t acting up.</p>

<p>Miaoling, I emailed Princeton at that address and they said they will not give out admissions decisions online, and you can’t sign up for it.</p>
<p>i think that email is scarier. i know that sounds silly, but on a website it feels as though you have the choice. when it is in your inbox, you basically already know and get completely surprised. (but no complaints. 6 days. i am freaking out. i just want to know! haha)</p>
<p>I still dont understand if Harvard mails them at 5pm est? or 5pm your time?? My physics class has computers and if its at 5pm est it would be soooo tempting to just check…</p>
<p>i’m almost positive they are at 5 pm EST. but they don’t all come at exactly 5, from what I’ve heard you will receive them sometime between 5 and 7ish (EST)</p>
