Haha, I’m not too worried about the AC. I can always buy a fan, but my primary point is how the university values student housing. PENN has excellent living facilities. I have considered Stanford and would be applying, but due to its location, I’d be worried about its cost of living, let alone tuition. Plus, while Stanford is a great university, it can’t necessarily be compared to Wharton and Harvard for undergrad in my field.
I have been to the Harvard dorms. I think they are more than adequate.
You and I have different definitions of excellent.
As have I. Granted Penn’s are better in comparison, but like comparing dining hall food, calling one better is damning with faint praise.
Anyway, the kid’s a high school sophomore who has miles to go.
