Harvard Grad Seeks Babysitting Jobs

The man who bagged my groceries for ten years was a Harvard grad. I found this out when I read his obituary after he committed suicide. Where he went to school was hardly the primary driving factor in his life.

It may have been, in a negative sense. Harvard graduates whose career is bagging groceries are probably less happy than high school dropouts doing the same thing, since happiness depends on reality relative to expectations.

How many graduate from Harvard in a given year? How many become reknowned for anything other than people saying, “He went to Harvard.”?
