<p>Not to be a party pooper as I think this thread is very useful, but I’d like to point out a bad point in this thread’s concetp: Harvard and Princeton do not offer early admission. I suspect that some students did what I did and, trying to save work/application fees, chose which of these schools they wanted mostly to attend before applying to all of them. If those were MIT, Yale, or Stanford, then maybe they got in early and did not apply to any others. I did this, so I know it is a possibility for others. MIT would have won even if I were admitted to all five, so when I got in early my decision was made… though I was not admitted to (or denied from) any of the other schools.</p>
