@harvard2020babe I’m with you gurl. I’m just frozen in my seat right now. I swear I’ll poop in my pants sooner or later.
Good Luck to everyone!!! I know we’re all shaking!
Good luck to all!!!
Yeah, the Harvard Snapchat is legit.
I remember seeing it in an email sent by Harvard.
Makes it look … over … done.
I don’t have snapchat o_O
I still have hope lol
@strongswimmer15 honestly it’s a crapshoot expect the unexpected while at the same time expect rejection. I don’t mean this in a mean way it’s just the way it is
The letters in the Harvard snapchat didn’t look like trackable packages… have they been trackable in the past couple of years?
@seveneleven29: I am still being hopeful that, in their holistic review process, they do actually consider the individual circumstances each applicant is in rather than just looking at the numbers or at all the applicants objectively.
I’ve only gotten accepted to my state universities, and I have been denied from all the out-of-state ones I applied to, although they claimed they use a “holistic review” of applications.
So I have no idea what I’ll see in the portal today. I’m jus going to adopt the mantra that whatever happens, happens. And that I will go where I am meant to go.
@strongswimmer15 I just wanted to wish you the best of luck and hope you manage to get one of your top choice schools! I understand how you feel; I was told that myself that due to difficult circumstances in my junior year (which I shall leave out) that I would not be able to get in anywhere due to a very low GPA/rank and other factors, yet I managed to do so, although I have also had many rejections as well. Whatever happens, I hope you end up satisfied at where you go. Decisions are weird, but maybe today will be your day
Good luck to everyone!! Come to Harvard if you get in
Anyone see a package on MyUSPS?
I live in MA and my mail just came- nothing. Does that mean I can give up hope (which I really should anyway)?
the decisions of princeton and dartmouth are also coming at the same time…and these are the only 3 universities I have applied to [-O<
1 hour and a half.
OMG OMG OMG. I CANT. Please Harvard come thru for me. I’d rather get rejected everywhere just so I can attend there.
@poppay Considering the lottery that is Ivy admissions, I’d be looking into some Plan B’s. Not saying you’re not qualified, but depending on an Ivy isn’t a great idea (as my Harvard interviewer himself told me at some length… that was demoralizing.)
@Hamotron Thanks
for the advice. You are totally right. I have a plan B it is in my country (i.e NUST). I as actually talking about American/International universities.
So many wonderful brilliant applicants don’t get accepted due to … Who knows??? It’s not personal believe it or not!!! But they go elsewhere and bloom where they are planted. Deep breaths all !!!
@Hamotron you’re completely right! It’s really nerve wracking to wait on Ivy Decisions as their acceptance rates are verging on or at less than 5%. I had plans A, B, C, D, and E and I was very fortunate that plan B worked out but plans C and D did not (oh well). Again, decisions are very weird sometimes so you never know.
