My mom is going to be on a flight back from Colorado when I get my decision 
I might have my boyfriend read the decision and tell me so I don’t freak out

@pubkid I guess I get that! We’re comfortable enough with each other by now for something like that though, it’s been over a year and a half haha
Hi! Okay, I’ve been lurking, but now I’m going to ask a really dumb question. No judging. How are we going to know our decisions? Are we going to be sent an email which look similar to an actual hardcover acceptance/rejection letters? Will our Harvard portal randomly change or something? I tried to look online…but I can’t find anything.
@moony1972 harvard will send an email alerting you that your decision is ready. You will have to log on to the applicant status portal and a status update will appear, you’ll click on the update and it will have a message similar to the ones from acceptance/rejection letters
@moony1972 If the past is any indicator, there’s an email with a link to the portal where one sees the decision. Of course, there’s been nothing official from Harvard, so take that loosely.

@orionsagittarius not sure, could be! Like I know ACT claims they email you when your scores are available but most of the time they don’t so maybe it’s something similar with harvard but I’m pretty sure after you applied, harvard sent an email saying to add them as a contact so they can send you updates and notify you when your results are ready
It’s amazing how after waking up from a two hour nap the countdown can go from 3 to 2 days!

@pubkid me!! Honestly I just BSed the whole Stanford supplement part because I didn’t feel like the questions were very insightful. The answer parts they give you are very short and the questions are kind of shallow so I figured they didn’t matter much anyway…or that’s what my procrastinating brain told me hahaha
@pubkid but that’s just me, don’t listen to me!! Obv use 2nd person in the roommate “essay” and be funny! 
I have a big history test tomorrow but I keep procrastinating on studying ahhh
