Harvard students are invited to sign a kindness pledge

Well of course not. I don’t believe for a minute they think this somehow converts students to being decent human beings. I also don’t believe that people are either ‘kind’ or sociopathic.

<p>I didn’t mean to suggest that the dichotomy was that rigid. I was just trying to clarify why I think these pledges are ineffective.</p>
