Harvard Summer school and SSP

I had the idea that SSP is a part of Harvard Summer School, meant for High School and grade 9 students.

"Experience college this summer in Harvard’s Secondary School Program (SSP). " “Experience college if you will graduate from high school in 2010, 2011, or 2012” (from the website.)

That said, you can also find other programs of Harvard Summer School at http://www.summer.harvard.edu/2010/programs/</a> ==> which is why I hazarded my guess as above.

Correct me if I’m wrong. That’s what I perceived.

I have no idea about the differences. Perhaps more would deem Harvard’s SSP to be more prestigious. But seeing from the cost, (~$10000) It certainly doesn’t seem very affordable to most low-income families without financial aid.

Would you be applying?
