Harvard University Class of 2022 SCEA Applicants Thread

@crimsondream22 Go on a run (unless you’re like me and you can’t). Even if you’re not a runner, the exercise will help get the adrenaline out of your system.

40 minutes already!!

@ski_racer dude it’s 2:51 AM over here, I will be lucky if I don’t faint by the time the results are out

@crimsondream22 I’m binge eating spoonfuls of sugar… So no, I probably don’t have any good advice lol

Good luck from the Penn ED thread!!!

@LondonVall a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!

(i guess medicine in this case being the result)

I love everyone coming from other threads to wish us luck. Y’all are legends, best of luck with your ED/EA schools!

i have an interview tonight with my local LAC so my counselor is telling me to check after the interview… don’t know if i can wait another 5 hours though

The results come out at 6 am where I’m from. So I’m going to have a physical and mental breakdown by the time decisions come out.

It sucks because I know that I won’t get in (I had a problematic common app that isn’t as good as the one I have now) but I’m still hoping for that sliver of a chance…

Please sleep @parmita99

@parmita99 RIP

@parmita99, good news will be energizing!

@parmita99 It’s not like I’m any better though it’s already 3 am here. HALF AN HOUR LEFT

30 minutes left!! Good luck everyone :slight_smile:

@asaltyattic , I don’t think that is a realistic expectation of you. Check if you want to check–step in the restroom if you have to. Life-changing news should be opened ASAP. Good luck!

@SouthernHope Hopefully

@QueerandHere My dog just threw up so yeah that speeded time up a little lol

Good luck from Columbia ED! I’d highly recommend cleaning your room/ going for a walk/ meditating (try the calm app) to pass the time.

Remember that you’ll find a college that works for you regardless!! :slight_smile:

@fluffysimba I’m applying to the dual degree with Berklee and talked to the person in charge of the program last Friday. I am pretty sure the dual degree will neither help nor hurt your chances of admissions. If you have any more questions about the program, let me know, I have some decent information.

On the contrary, Harvard tends to admit people with exceptional talent at higher rates so if you are a musician recognized on the national level, you probably have a slightly better shot.

So everyone is asleep right now and I have no one to comfort me… I’m jittery, cold, headache-y, and scared. Why did I sign up for this
