I ended up getting deferred and then waitlisted. So we’ll see, maybe I will get in and maybe not. But I got into Stanford which I think is the slightest bit more difficult to be accepted to so I’m still happy.

That’s kinda like saying “My father didn’t buy me a Lamborghini, like I wanted, but he got me a Lotus, which is more expensive, so I’m still happy”.
