Has Anybody Had Gas Stolen From Their Vehicle?

<p>haven’t had gas stolen, but a few years ago, someone broke my car window (that little triangle one in the back), got into the car and popped the hood and stole my ignition wires.</p>

<p>From right in front of my house. I park my 1991 honda civic in the back now. Had they just knocked on my door, I surely would have given them the $20 for the darn wires, cost me more than 10X that to have the car fixed.</p>

<p>Here in our little suburban town, all our gas stations were “pump-first-then-pay”. In the past year they have all switched over to “pay first then pump.” I wonder if they’ve had more drive-offs than in the past since gas prices skyrocketed.</p>
