<p>OK, here’s the mindset you should have when you’re going into ND: You pay close to $50,000 a year for these kinds of services, and you pay them up front. That means that, not only are they all at your disposal, you’ve already paid them to help you, so it’s their job to do so.</p>
<p>This goes for everything - OIT, tutoring, Health Services, your print quota, the Career Center, the Writing Center, etc etc.</p>
<p>In other news: Get a Mac. Mine has been going better than strong for about 2 1/2 years now with almost no incident whatsoever (I installed more RAM, but that was just because of a poor decision when I got it to get the baseline level when I should have known I needed a little more. And my own personal persnickity nature when it comes to my computer).</p>
<p>You get great deals through Apple and OIT, and any computer you get comes with a free printer and iPod.</p>
