Has anyone ever done a Beatles tour in Liverpool?

Just checked out LondonWalks site- they offer 2 different Beatles walks, both guided by Richard P., plus a Rock’n’Roll walk and a RnR pub crawl. http://www.walks.com/1286_Standalone/Beatles_Walks_-_Rock_N_Roll_London_Walks/default.aspx#24719</a>
Scroll down for the scoop on Richard P. - sounds like he really knows his stuff: http://www.walks.com/London_Walks_Home/Londons_Best_Guides!/default.aspx</a></p>

The walking tours in London sound very nice. The places in Liverpool that are famous because of the Beatles are spread out throughout a fairly large city so if you only have a day, a combination of a walking tour and some kind of taxi/bus tour really would probably be necessary if you want to be sure to see everything of importance.

I do recommend going to the Cavern Club one night - we had a few pints and took in an all-female Beatles cover band. Had some fun.

Thanks all! I hadn’t even thought about doing a walk in London.

@Pizzagirl‌ I would have love to have done the tour. (It was hard enough dragging my husband to Liverpool. ) We were driving from Scotland south and had our 4 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old boys. (So it must have been 1999.) They were also not up for a long tour. Same day there were rare tornados in the midlands which we dodged. We arrived in London only to find all hotels booked for a flower convention. We finally found a room near Heathrow at 3am. It was a verrry loonng day. (I think we might have even fit in a hike that day too.)
