We used to own a motor home and also a little travel trailer. We once drove it from Nj all the way down to Key West. We must have looked like we were fleeing because we towed our mini van, had a tandem ocean kayak as well as bikes for all 6 of us. We mostly stayed in camp grounds during that trip, but you don’t need to fill water and empty the tanks daily, so if you have one with a generator and use it sparingly , then you can go without being hooked up to electricity .
We so miss those trips !
We used to mostly go to Assateague State ( an national ) Park in Md. That was our favorite place to " camp "
My husband and I hope to get some kind of travel trailer in the future that we can tow behind my SUV…just enough room for us and our two corgis :o3
