<p>My DDs have passed up numerous classic sweaters etc to their tiny grandma. Things I bought the girls in kid sizes 12/14 or some XS/SM adult have all moved up to Grandma and I really feel I got my money’s worth on them!</p>

<p>Your daughter is definitely not keeping up with the latest trends. Menswear and “boyfriend” styles are really, really hot in women’s fashion right now. Consider yourself fashion-forward, amomom.

<p>My DD always raids her big brother’s suitcase when he comes home for a visit and makes off with shirts.</p>
<p>Years and years ago, my DH bought a peacoat at an Army-Navy store. He outgrew it and passed it on to me. When DS was in high school and hated shopping, I handed it down to him. When he got a new coat, the peacoat went to my DH, who needed to fill a hole in her wardrobe with something other than her ski jacket. Her brother just bought her a new peacoat for Christmas (on Black Friday), so the old peacoat is scheduled to come back to me at Christmas. I STILL like it better than the new versions.</p>
