I think with the competitiveness of college, everyone fudges on their applications a bit to make their achievements or EC seem that much better, or more important.
I admit that I fudged my essay a bit, adding a bit of flourish here and there, but I didn’t outright lie in anything. I’m good with writing creatively, so I used that talent to dress up my essay.
