My daughter went last year and loved it. She’s currently a freshman there now. Her stats were 35 ACT and 3.8 UW GPA with pretty much as many AP/honors classes as were available to her. (5 APs by end of junior year, 4 more senior year.) Her biggest EC was that she founded and was president of her school’s ACLU Club and had attended the ACLU Summer Institute in DC among other things. The diversity angle was that she’s half Japanese. She wasn’t sure if that would be considered diverse enough, but I guess the people at Haverford thought it was. It makes sense now, since she told me that she’s the only Japanese person she knows at the school. I’m sure there are some, but she hasn’t encountered them yet.
