Have you had your colors done

I think I’m a warm spring veering to soft summer. Dark brown hair with a tiny bit of auburn, pale skin which used to be quite freckly, brown eyes that one make-up person told me were actually hazel. I those colors alot when I’m not wearing black or gray which as a New Yorker I also wear alot.

@thumper1 - I hear you on the autumn colors. My college roommate was/is a red-headed autumn. She loved those colors, but she referred to many of them as “booger colors.” Still makes me lol.

Mathmom, you sound like an Autumn

I had mine done as a teen when my mom had a Color Me Beautiful get together. Recently, I got a book from the library about colors, by David Zyla. He does peoples colors and tells how to do it in the book. It’s not a seasons system, it’s his own format. It’s pretty interesting, and I do find that the colors I ended up with, I really do look better in (and I don’t have a great sense of art or color, so yes I needed a book). His method involves using colors already “in” you (certain parts of eyes and skin) so doing it from instructions in a book, rather than a live person with the eye for it, makes sense.
